From the Patz Vault – John Walker, Pilot Of Progress

We are proud of our Patz history! One of the first employees hired by Mr. Paul Patz was John Walker. John joined Patz in 1950 and during his tenure, he worked in multiple capacities before being promoted to the Sales Department.

Like today, the Patz Dealer network spanned the United States and Canada. To establish and train the Dealers, Mr. Walker received his pilot’s license in 1967. He flew the Patz Company airplanes for 30 years, logging 6,000 hours of flight time on Patz business.  His commitment created a strong base for the company to grow on.

John Walker was part of the Patz team for 49 years, retiring in 1999. He will be celebrating his 92nd birthday on January 31, 2026. John and his wife Veronica also recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

Thank you to John for his important part in Patz Corporation’s history. We appreciate him dedicating his years of employment to the company and will never forget his fundamental role in helping to make Patz Corporation the worldwide success that it is today.
