Robert Stine and his son Bill are fourth and fifth generation dairy farmers in Redwood, New York. The family farm, which was purchased in 1847, is now an organic dairy that milks 35 Holsteins. The Stines use a Patz 9427 Portable Chopper to bed their 65-head milking and replacement heifer herd.

“The Patz Chopper chops faster and better than the [competitive brand] we had previously,” said Robert, “It’s a very good product.”

The Stines appreciate the time and labor they save because their Patz Chopper cuts through the bales fast and distributes the straw bedding quickly and evenly throughout the barn. Robert likes the quality of the Patz Chopper and the fact that it is easy to use.

“We like it very much,” Robert stated. “The performance of the Patz Chopper is excellent.”
