Cleaning Up With Patz

MIlt Rotz photo2

In 2010, expansion came in the form of a new freestall barn to the Milt Rotz farm of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Part of the installation included Patz Alley Scrapers and a Patz 3333 to parlor waste water to long term storage. The alley scrapers have had a particularly noticeable impact on the Rotz farm. Milt says the cows stay much cleaner and the automation of the alley scrapers reduces the amount of labor to clean the freestall. It also reduced damage in the freestall that sometimes occurs when cleaning with skidsteers.

Milt is the third generation of the Rotz family farm and the third generation to work with local Patz dealer Agri-Service, LLC (and Witmers before Agri Service acquired Witmers).
