Standard Features & Options
REDUCER OPTIONS
Reducer options include: Heavy-Duty and Standard. Each has a welded steel frame, grease fittings at all critical bearings, and rugged roller chain drive. Standard Reducer for up to 280′ (85m) of barn cleaner chain. Heavy-Duty Reducer for longer pulls of barn cleaner chain.
HIGH-STRENGTH, CORROSION-RESISTANT STEEL
The slide is constructed of 11-gauge HSLA steel for long life and is welded to the center beam for greatest structural strength. At 10-5/8″ (270mm) high, the loaded side keeps manure in gutter cleaner and keeps the surrounding area clean. Each slide is custom built and includes return slide lips. 10-year pro-rated warranty.
RETURN CORNER SHOE
Designed for reliability and strength, the return corner shoe guides the chain smoothly through the inside corner.
CORNER WHEEL
Large, double-flanged, 12″ corner wheels maintain proper chain linkage through corners under load. The wheel is through hardened to a specific hardness that resists wear. Each corner wheel has a greaseable composite bearing.
DRIVE SPROCKET
The drive sprocket holds the chain on and protects it. The Patz chain fits the Patz 4-tooth sprocket without bending the links. A massive sprocket tooth pushes every link behind the hook. The large sprocket teeth pick up the chain and help hold it on the sprocket for reliable operation. The sprocket is reversible for extra years of service.
HOLD-DOWN SHOE
Easily adjust the hold-down shoe up or down with a simple screw-set. The chain is held down in the gutter so the flites can move the manure up the slide. The entire shoe si through-hardened providing many years of life.
